About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Specialist to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, AL. This role involves planning and conducting audits and assessments of supplier systems, processes, and products, as well as inspecting or verifying products for compliance with requirements. The Specialist will also assist with assessments of supplier capability and capacity, provide education and coaching on quality systems and regulatory compliance, and resolve routine issues and concerns. Additionally, the role supports the review of proposals, contracts, and requirements to prepare quality assurance plans and tests for hardware and software products, processes, and services. The Specialist will maintain Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics to ensure compliance with program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards, and working agreements. This includes collecting and verifying data to identify root causes of routine problems and providing input for corrective action development. The position also involves supporting quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and assisting with hardware, software, and system-level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, and related business, regulatory, and customer requirements. Finally, the Specialist will compile data and provide recommendations for material review disposition.

Requirements

1+ year of experience working in Quality job role
1+ year of experience in Supplier quality processes
1+ year of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
1+ year of experience in working with blueprints, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Responsibilities
