Supplier Quality Management Assistant
About The Position
The Supplier Quality Management Assistant supports the Supplier Quality Specialist in addressing quality problems with suppliers involving serial parts. The role assists with supplier qualification and auditing according to VDA 6.3, organizes and plans incoming goods inspections at the plant, and creates inspection plans in SAP QM. It also processes supplier complaints from opening through conclusion, conducts continuous improvement meetings, and supports functional departments' measures to improve part quality. The position serves as the first escalation level for suppliers in the event of quality complaints and plans and conducts local requalification tests. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Supplier Quality Specialist in dealing with supplier quality problems involving serial parts.
- Assist with supplier qualification and auditing according to VDA 6.3.
- Assist in organizing and planning incoming goods inspection at the plant.
- Create inspection plans in SAP QM.
- Process supplier complaints in the system, from opening through conclusion.
- Conduct continuous improvement meetings and support functional departments' measures to improve part quality.
- Act as the first escalation level for suppliers in cases of quality complaints.
- Plan and conduct local requalification tests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
