About The Position

Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance, the Lead, Supply Quality Engineer will oversee and enhance our product quality processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of quality assurance, testing methodologies, and process improvement, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products through rigorous testing, process control, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, software testing life cycle, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers to ensure effective execution of quality assurance processes.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Coordinate quality-related activities across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement quality strategies, plans, and standards in line with product requirements and industry best practices.
  • Establish and monitor key quality metrics to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with product management, development, and operations teams to define quality requirements and deliverables.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing products.
  • Ensure that testing is thorough, covering functional, performance, and usability aspects.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and failure investigations, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality protocols.
  • Manage risk assessments and support quality audits to ensure adherence to quality systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide regular status updates to senior management on quality metrics, trends, and project progress.
  • Lead post-mortem reviews on major quality issues to identify lessons learned and preventive actions.
  • Act as a key liaison between quality and other departments to ensure smooth communication and successful project delivery.
