Requirements

Previous experience in quality engineering
Valid driver’s license
Excellent driving record
Willingness to travel at least 50% to various jobsites within North America, as needed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, preferred
Certification in quality methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) is a plus
General knowledge of mechanical and electrical product designs and concepts
Data analysis experience
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

Inspect generator packages with team assistance and documentation resources
Evaluate nonconformance data in quality management system
Initiate supplier corrective action requests for severe and recurring nonconformances
Validate supplier corrective actions
Support first article inspections as a secondary auditor
Support supplier qualification audits through documentation collection and capturing Gemba observations
Pursue continuing education in new solutions, technologies, and skills
Work in coordination with team to achieve Continuous Improvement goals and objectives
Perform other related duties as assigned
