About The Position

The Military Engines Sustainment Quality team is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer who is energetic and motivated to conduct process and product audits, initiate and manage Quality Notifications, manage the Quality Clinic, initiate continual improvement initiatives, modify/generate quality documents and review/approve first article inspection documentation. Requirements

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
First Article Inspection (FAI) experience.
CORE / Lean Six Sigma Experience.
Ability to travel as required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, quality manuals, and other detailed instructions.
Quality Clinic experience.
AS9100 / AS9110 experience.
CORE Champion or working towards CORE proficiency.
Proficiency in MS Office applications to include: MS Word, Access, Power Point and Excel.

Responsibilities

Communicate with various levels of management to identify Military Engines supplier quality risks and mitigation plans.
Collect and analyze process data to minimize workflow disruptions and eliminate nonconformances/escapes.
Review and approve supplier First Article Inspections (FAI).
Actively work within the SAP system to process/close out quality notifications (QN), research component/module history and identify service master activity.
Facilitate investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions while preventing future recurrence.
