About The Position

An updated resume is required for consideration. This role involves applying process knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve quality issues through root cause identification and countermeasure. The engineer will also apply part and process knowledge to promote optimized part and process design to meet quality and cost targets. A key responsibility is auditing new and current suppliers to confirm their quality systems meet DENSO and IATF standards, and managing supplier new part and process change activities to meet quality and timing requirements. Collaboration with other DENSO teams is essential to develop creative solutions ensuring parts meet process and customer requirements. The role requires interaction with supplier and DENSO executives through daily communications, reports, and presentations. Some domestic and international travel is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related degree
  • 3+ years of direct experience required
  • A combination of degree and experience can be considered

Nice To Haves

  • Project management experience
  • Quality or process engineering experience for one or more of the following manufacturing processes: Metal forming/machining, Plastic / rubber injection molding, assembly, semiconductor (wafer, assembly and/or test)
  • Familiar with Automotive Industry Quality Systems & Requirements: AIAG, Toyota, Nissan, SIA, Ford, Honda, and/or TS16949 / IATF

Responsibilities
