About The Position
This role focuses on managing and creating supplier quality documentation within the Aerospace/Defense industry. The position is located in Valencia, CA, and is initially for 3 months with a possibility of extension for another 3 months. The role requires 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in aerospace
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Quality
- Experience with the manufacturing and inspection
- Strong knowled of AS9102
- General knowledge of Aerospace Quality Systems and International Standards
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite products.
- A certain degree of creativity and flexibility is required.
- The ability to read blue prints, check dimensional properties of parts or raw material to ensure compliance to manufacturing drawings/blueprints and specifications including knowledge of GD&T.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures with regards to inspection including proficiency in the use and interpretation of CMM, comparator, micrometers, thread gauges and calipers
Responsibilities
- Manage and write Inspection reports and other related documents.
- Package FAI if needed.
