About The Position

Micron Technology is seeking a Supplier Quality Compliance Management Auditor responsible for auditing all Micron suppliers providing Frontend and Backend materials and capital equipment. In this global role, you will collaborate multi-functionally with Operations, Process R&D, Material Engineering, Sales, and other business units to ensure supplier Quality Management Systems (QMS) meet Micron’s strategic objectives. You will play a key role in identifying critical quality processes, assessing system performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor assembly and/or memory module/SSD manufacturing.
  • 3–5 years of hands‑on experience conducting QMS audits in the semiconductor industry.
  • Lead Assessor training in ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949, plus strong understanding of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, PPAP, APQP, MSA, 8D).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong coordination skills for planning and accomplishing supplier audits and follow‑ups.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative way across regions.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience maintaining or improving Quality Management Systems to meet ISO requirements.
  • Knowledge or experience applying AI and machine learning in manufacturing/quality environments.
  • Additional language proficiency beyond English.

Responsibilities

  • Perform, plan, and implement supplier audits across global suppliers to ensure compliance with Micron’s quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow up on corrective actions from audits to ensure timely and effective closure.
  • Track, analyze, and summarize audit indicators, and recommend action plans to strengthen supplier QMS performance.
  • Develop, evaluate, revise, and apply technical quality assurance protocols to inspect and test in‑process materials, raw materials, equipment, and finished goods.
  • Analyze inspection trends and recommend corrective actions based on observed quality issues.
  • Ensure consistency to manufacturing inspection procedures, sampling methods, and statistical process control requirements (including compliance with ISO and GMPs).
  • Support internal Quality teams with audits, gap analyses, corrective actions, and ISO certification maintenance.
  • Travel 30%–40% as required to supplier locations.
