Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / Master's Degree in chemistry, mechanical, materials etc. engineering disciplines
  • 10-20 years working experience in the semiconductor industry or parts manufacture/cleaning related field
  • Good communication skill, influence skill, successful project experience on new product introduction or Lean project or quality upgrade
  • Good integrity, strong IP awareness, protect Applied benefit when working in supplier site
  • Able to support significant domestic travel >50%

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and successful experience on automation, AI is nice to have.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates technical requirements of new and existing Best Know Method, work with supplier to define or recommend prats cleaning solution, which would result in savings, lead time reductions, system improvements, increased parts life and/or mitigated risk.
  • Work with Surface Tech or Quality teams to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements, make sure all expectations are communicated effectively to supporting suppliers.
  • Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology.
  • Leads the supplier technical audit process and evaluates supplier performance and capability, drive continuous improvement opportunities at supplier.
  • Training other supplier engineers on the supplier audit and evaluation process.
  • Participation with Quality team in quality problem resolutions and incident management, supervise supplier corrective and preventive action.
  • Identifies and drives broad based systemic supplier resolutions at the process level.
  • Assist in cost planning by monitoring key cost drivers, supply markets, to ensure a competitive advantage.
