This position will be remote based (work from home) in the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania areas. The position will require frequent travel in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania areas and therefore the selected candidate must live in this region. Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply chain, Business Management, or related field and 8 years of experience in Operations, Quality, and/or Continuous Improvement roles; or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience.
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Reside in the New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania area

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with strong structured project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to initiate, lead and sustain change activities at the suppliers.
  • CORE Professional (Any track).
  • Six-Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbelt or LEAN certificate.
  • RTX SHA certified assessor.
  • ITC experience.
  • SAP experience using Procurement and Quality transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assessments of the suppliers capability to perform and sustain performance through the SHA (Supplier Health Assessment).
  • Engage the supplier to complete the diagnosis in the Gemba and work with the supplier to develop a comprehensive gap closure plan.
  • Conduct weekly training and coaching on-site at the supplier to develop their team.
  • Follow-up with the PW and supplier team to validate the gap plan and monitor progress to ensure the benefits are achieved.
  • Establish leading indicators of performance and track weekly, on-site at supplier.
  • Intervene to expedite deliveries and/or resolve quality issues as required.
  • Lead impactful Continuous Improvement events at Supplier.
