About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care of West Marietta is seeking an experienced, dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to support our growing non-medical home care agency on a PRN / part-time basis. This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys working with older adults and values flexibility, independent field work, and meaningful clinical oversight. The RN will play an important role in helping ensure client care plans, caregiver support, documentation, and regulatory requirements remain strong as the agency grows. Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Georgia RN license
- Experience with older adults
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently in client homes
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Home care, home health, hospice, rehabilitation, geriatrics, or case management experience preferred
- Experience working with older adults in home care, home health, hospice, rehabilitation, assisted living, geriatrics, or case management
- Experience completing nursing assessments and developing or updating care plans
- Familiarity with dementia, fall risk, mobility limitations, transfers, and activities of daily living
- Comfortable identifying when client needs exceed the scope of non-medical home care
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience providing caregiver education, competency support, or clinical oversight is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial in-home RN assessments
- Complete supervisory and reassessment visits
- Develop and update client care plans
- Assess mobility, cognition, fall risk, ADLs, and overall care needs
- Identify changes in condition or safety concerns
- Provide caregiver guidance and competency support
- Complete timely documentation
- Support compliance and survey readiness
- Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and agency leadership
