About The Position

Haven Home Care is expanding its services to Eastern Ohio, including Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties. This is a unique opportunity to join our expansion and help establish our presence in a new territory. The role is perfect for supplemental income and involves building a client base from the ground up. As the client base grows, so does the potential for earnings through supervisory visits, open visits, and skills testing for Home Health Aide candidates. This position does not involve skilled nursing care or medical assessments.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
Current Ohio LPN license in good standing.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance that covers driving for work.
Current CPR certification.
Successful completion of criminal background check, skills test, and written nursing test.
One or more years in a home health agency or in a hospital setting.
Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Communication skills with ability to interact professionally with clients, families, and healthcare team.
Ability to work independently and schedule visits efficiently.
Comfortable using a calculator.
Competent operation of company-provided iPad with data plan.
Appropriate use of company-provided name badge and cardigan with "Haven" logo.

Nice To Haves

Home health experience preferred.
Experience with scheduling, documentation, and compliance regulations.
Residence in Trumbull or Mahoning County preferred.
Entrepreneurial mindset.
Patient and flexible.
Comfortable with variable hours and building territory from zero clients.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular supervisory visits every 60 days to check on Home Health Aides.
Complete open visits for new clients.
Conduct skills tests and written tests for Home Health Aide candidates.
Prepare accurate and thorough documentation according to agency standards and regulatory requirements.
Travel to clients' homes across Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties.
Schedule visits efficiently and work independently.
