About The Position

What you’ll do: Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team in providing legendary customer service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here."

Requirements

  • You have above average communication skills and computer skills
  • You have retail experience in the areas of customer service and merchandising
  • Willing to actively learn and expand knowledge of Gas Bar Operations
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
  • You are willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
  • You are physically able to do heavy lifting of 50 lbs, climb ladders and kneel

Nice To Haves

  • Considered an asset to have prior supervisory experience (not mandate)
  • Considered an asset to have knowledge of Gas Bar operations

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and delegating employee’s workflow and duties while ensuring all staff are following safety standards as well as Legacy Co-op's policies and procedures.
  • Completing reviews on Team Members - plan, monitor and review Team Member performance as it relates to the Performance Management process.
  • Providing ongoing and frequent communication and coaching
  • Onboarding and training new staff
  • Demonstrating leadership in the operation of cash registers, and fuel pumps
  • Assisting with interviews as needed
  • General Gas Bar duties as required - stocking, receiving, ordering, opening, closing, operate POS system, dispensing fuel
