About The Position

The Supervisor will be accountable for operational excellence in the execution of daily store procedures, payroll management, cash handling, and inventory control. They will support the Store Manager in leading the team to achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales goals and financial plan, with a primary focus on employee engagement and a collaborative selling environment. The Supervisor is accountable to the Store Manager for driving process adoption, opening and closing the store as a visible service leader, and supporting the resolution of customer concerns with a positive outcome. They will assess and strategize how to drive performance goals (Conversion, Units Per Transaction, Sales Per Hour, and other measurable KPIs). Additionally, they will assist in the interviewing, hiring, training, and retention of the store team, supporting the onboarding process for new hires by educating them on Beyond Yoga core values, product knowledge, selling culture, and other employee responsibilities. The role also involves executing flawless store visual presentation by following corporate visual direction and recommending merchandising adaptations where needed, ensuring sound product inventory management through accurate receiving and sending processes, and aiding in the completion of all required business directives (e.g., price changes/retickets, RTVs, markdowns, transfers). The Supervisor will prevent losses by educating associates on customer service and ensuring company policies are followed, and will coach and develop staff to increase their knowledge and skill sets, providing opportunities for continued development and growth within the organization. They will manage minor employee relations issues, including performance management, and hold associates accountable for following Beyond Yoga and LS&Co policies and procedures. Building relationships and fostering a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment is key, as is collaborating with the store team and Home Office partners on building connections with the local community through events to drive brand awareness and engagement. The Supervisor must be a brand ambassador that embodies and can cultivate the company’s core values.

Requirements

  • Progressive retail leadership experience and proven skills in supervising, coaching and training
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend and holiday shifts
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions and able to lift up to 40 pounds. While performing the duties of the job the employee may be required to stand, walk, kneel, squat, crouch, bend, stoop, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, to type, reach overhead, and climb ladders.   • Must have reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
