Under indirect supervision/assistance, this position is responsible for the daily maintenance operation of the site. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of 3 or more employees to ensure maintenance schedules are met efficiently, safely, and in an employee-oriented manner. The position also includes managing and performing daily system maintenance and repair, ensuring adherence to Company training programs, and providing direct supervision of all daily assignments. This includes scheduling and supervising mechanics and/or technicians in ground support equipment, facilities, boarding bridge, and/or baggage handling areas. The role requires reviewing and monitoring personnel assignments, coordinating repairs and maintenance with airport and airline staffs, managing the daily preventive maintenance program, and potentially assisting with budgeting, finances, and parts inventory. Resolving technical issues and maintaining daily turnover reports are also key responsibilities. The Supervisor is expected to foster a commitment to quality work, promote zero defects and continuous improvement, and train, develop, and motivate personnel towards company objectives. Conducting performance appraisals and disciplinary actions, working according to company regulations and management instructions, and demonstrating professionalism in appearance, manner, and communication are essential. The role also involves monitoring the Company’s Quality program, ensuring compliance with safety laws and regulations (OSHA, state, local), coordinating safety matters, and maintaining site morale and customer satisfaction.
