About The Position

The Starbucks Denver Premium Outlets is seeking a Supervisor to join their team. This role involves overseeing daily operations, delegating tasks, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six months of experience in a supervisory or customer-facing role, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include preparing beverages and food, maintaining store standards, and coaching team members.

  • Requires frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and kneeling as part of daily duties.
  • Role involves repetitive hand and arm movements.
  • Ability to safely handle hot liquids, steam, and equipment throughout the shift.
  • Manual hand dexterity for operating small tools, POS systems, and drink assembly.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment that may involve noise, heat, and close proximity to others.
  • Occasional pushing or pulling of carts, containers, or equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees preferred.
  • Six (6) months of experience in a customer-facing role that required continuous interaction with customers and fulfilling their requests is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Delegate tasks to other employees and/or coordinate the tasks of two or more employees.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized recipes for customers.
  • Communicate professionally with team members and customers.
  • Effectively escalate concerns to the appropriate leaders when needed.
  • Plan tasks efficiently for team members, utilize task lists or organizational tools to maintain workflow, and balance multiple responsibilities with minimal oversight.
  • Address policy violations promptly, communicate concerns appropriately, and seek guidance from leadership when needed.
  • Strategically flex team members into different areas of the business as needed, including coordinating and supporting additional training to ensure they are set up for success.
