This position supervises hourly production employees and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. The supervisor will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training, assigning, scheduling, directing work, appraising performance, disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. The role requires the ability to maintain confidentiality, keep emotions under control, react well under pressure, treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position, listen and get clarification, and respond well to questions. The supervisor must have the ability to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently. A clear command of the English language is required, both written and verbal.
