Supervisor_Outer Limits
About The Position
Lead the retail experience at Mt. Hood Meadows’ specialty snow-sports shop! As the Outer Limits Supervisor, you’ll help lead the day-to-day operation of the shop while creating an exceptional experience for guests looking for the gear, apparel, and expertise to make the most of their time on the mountain. You’ll lead and support the Outer Limits team, ensuring strong guest service, efficient operations, accurate POS transactions, and adherence to retail and loss-prevention standards. You’ll also contribute to training, inventory control, employee engagement, and overall retail operations, with opportunities to support our HPC team when needed. This is a great opportunity for a motivated retail leader who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for snow sports. If you’re someone who leads by example, enjoys developing a team, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and knowledgeable retail experience, we’d love to have you join us for the season. This is a full-time, seasonal position
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be able to commit to working weekends and holidays during the winter season
- Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business
- Supervisory experience
- Cash handling and Point of Sales experience
Nice To Haves
- Ski and Snowboard industry experience preferred
- Previous Supervisory experience
- Excellent communication, organizational and evaluation skills
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Knowledge of snow sports market
- Inventory control experience
- Basic proficiency in MS Office; higher level Excel skills preferred
- Familiarity with RTP desired
