About The Position

Supervises all activities necessary for the cleaning and sanitizing of buildings and facilities to ensure they are maintained in a safe and healthy manner. This is a Part-Time position.

Requirements

Supervises all activities necessary for the cleaning and sanitizing buildings and facilities in order to ensure they are maintained in a safe and healthy manner.

Responsibilities

Supervises cleaning of offices, lobbies, conference rooms, restrooms, and break rooms.
Supervises mopping of tile and concrete floor areas.
Supervises vacuuming of all carpeted areas.
Supervises dusting of furniture and fixtures as required.
Supervises washing and disinfecting of all washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, hand dryers, and fixtures.
Supervises cleaning of all mirrors.
Supervises replenishing of supplies such as toilet tissue, hand towels, soap, chemicals, and urinal screens.
Supervises emptying of all waste baskets and garbage cans.
Supervises placing of garbage in outside storage bin.
Supervises cleaning of entrance and exit, including glass, doors, and hardware.
Supervises keeping the outside area near the exit and entrance clear of snow, cans, paper, etc.
Supervises cleaning, washing, and disinfecting of drinking fountains.
Supervises washing all finger marks from walls, doors, hardware, and glass.
Reports maintenance repairs.
Supervises cleaning of kitchen & breakroom sinks and counters.
Reports damages and acts of vandalism.
Supervises spot cleaning of walls and toilet partitions.
Secures storage areas.
Ensures cleaning materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner.
Maintains an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies.
Restocks materials and supplies.
Makes note of the need for equipment repairs.
Maintains janitorial areas and cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies in a safe and orderly manner to ensure the safety of staff and the public.
Performs other related duties as required.
