About The Position

This role involves directly supervising hourly employees and carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. The position requires training new employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

• Ability to operate Ten-key, fax machine, office copier and computer.
• General knowledge of JDE, Microsoft Office and computer based shipping/receiving experience required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds and educational levels required.

• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise hourly employees.

• Work with freight carriers to ensure proper loading and shipments.
• Coordinate the warehouse activities of the pulling of finished goods.
• Work with Quality Control department to resolve and prevent quality issues.
• Interpret job orders to workers and assign duties.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Oversee employees to ensure the correct operation of equipment and machines.
• Coordinate employees to maintain the most effective workflow.
