About The Position
The Supervisor for Radiation Oncology will be responsible for identifying problems, clarifying situations and referring issues to the Director of Radiation Oncology as needed. They will assist the Director of Radiation Oncology with communications to the lead Radiation Therapists at other sites, and oversee the daily operation of radiation therapies at Memorial Hospital and ensure compliance with all protocols, standards, and practices.
Requirements
- Minimum Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy
- Proficient in Radiation Therapist core job duties
- Demonstrate problem-solving and organizations skill
- Able to understand directions
- Able to communicate and respond to inquiries
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Function independently and also as an integral member of various teams
- Display a commitment to customer satisfaction
- 5+ years as a working Radiation Therapist
- Simulation experience
- Ohio RT Certification
- ARRT
- CPR
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree of Radiation Therapy
- Knowledge of Varian Equipment and EPIC software
- One to 5 years year in a leadership position
