About The Position

The Supervisor at Vans supports the store’s leadership team and helps deliver a high-quality customer experience. The role leads by example, coaches and develops associates, and supports operational excellence in customer engagement, merchandising, and store standards. Working in partnership with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, the Supervisor helps maximize profitability, foster an inclusive team culture, and contribute to store success. This position is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, enjoys mentoring others, and is passionate about exceptional service. The position is part-time or limited-time and is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. It is not eligible for all VF Corporation benefits plans, though some company benefits may be available. The hiring range is $22.95–$30.00 USD per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of retail or store leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Proven ability to drive results through store teams and exceed sales and profit goals.
Skill in coaching, motivating, and building high-performing, diverse teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
Solution-oriented and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and meet business expectations.
Comfort using word processing, spreadsheets, and retail software tools.
Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Deliver personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
Support the store team in achieving and exceeding sales goals by monitoring progress against key performance indicators while also achieving individual goals.
Model effective selling behaviors and foster a consumer-centric mindset through authentic customer interactions.
Coach and develop associates to deliver high levels of customer engagement and meet productivity goals.
Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, floor coverage, and task delegation.
Support stockroom operations by organizing inventory, processing shipments, and ensuring timely product flow to the sales floor.
Assist with training and onboarding new team members, and provide ongoing feedback and support.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product replenishment aligns with brand directives.
Support inventory integrity through proper shipping, receiving, and loss prevention practices.
Promote community engagement by participating in local initiatives and events.
Uphold company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Foster a positive and inclusive store environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and learning.
