About The Position

This position is responsible for managing the receiving penning and moving of cattle to the slaughter department in a humane manner; for quality and safety; any additional assignments deemed appropriate by management. The individual in this position must work closely with the management team in achieving objectives accept full accountability assignments and day-to-day department responsibility.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2 plus years in Kill Floor preferred
• Must have general knowledge of production operations and techniques
• Must have general knowledge of food safety
• Must have general knowledge of product yields
• Must have general knowledge of USDA regulations
• Basic computer skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork
• Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
