About The Position

This position is responsible for managing the receiving penning and moving of cattle to the slaughter department in a humane manner; for quality and safety; any additional assignments deemed appropriate by management. The individual in this position must work closely with the management team in achieving objectives accept full accountability assignments and day-to-day department responsibility. This position is responsible for the supervision of production Team Members.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
2 plus years in Kill Floor preferred
General knowledge of production operations and techniques
Knowledge of food safety
Knowledge of product yields
Knowledge of USDA regulations
Basic computer skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Bilingual helpful
Skills to complete Tyson paperwork
Ability to lead by example
Ability to motivate the hourly workforce
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
