About The Position
Responsible for supervising the warehousing and shipping of incoming and outgoing materials. Supervises warehouse personnel. Responsible for the effective and efficient distribution of product and management of drivers within a specific territory.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years warehouse/inventory experience required or experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required.
- Requires experience managing people/budgets.
- Computer and database application skills.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product.
- Forklift certification is required upon commencement of work.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 2+ years supervising warehouse/inventory staff preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervising the warehousing and shipping of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Supervising warehouse personnel.
- Staffing, training, evaluating, and developing team members.
- Supervising the daily activities of the warehouse.
- Scheduling warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility.
- Allocating necessary space for stock rotation.
- Assisting and maintaining appropriate inventory levels and product loss control.
- Overseeing shipping and receiving functions as applicable.
- Securing company assets.
- Managing within labor and OPEX budget.
- Managing and auditing team members' timekeeping.
