About The Position

The Warehousing Supervisor contributes to the success of the company by expediting & documenting the flow of incoming & outgoing shipments in a professional process which is efficient, accurate, & in compliance with all safety processes & hazardous material requirements. Fogg Filler is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead our inventory control and warehousing function.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Some experience with shipping, receiving, purchasing, inventory a plus
  • Ability to read, write & comprehend instructions, correspondence & other information
  • Mathematical skills; ability to use calculator
  • Experience with MS Office, Excel & ability to perform specific shipping/receiving exercises in relevant software
  • Excellent communication skills with people throughout the organization & with vendors & shippers
  • Detail orientation, value accuracy
  • Problem solving skills to assist associates in meeting their shipping goals
  • Organization skills & ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to stand for several hours at a time
  • Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Full scope management of Cycle Count Program including ensuring all counts are obtained as required each year, maintaining proper classification of inventory, supporting periodic audits of counts and procedures.
  • Maintain ERP Data maintenance (i.e. negative quantities).
  • Trouble shooting systemic issues in cycle count exceptions leading countermeasure implementation for inventory discrepancies.
  • Report statistical outcomes and metrics for department.
  • Secure Inventory safekeeping.
  • Ensure timely transactional inventory movements to support Aftermarket Parts.
  • Direct and initiate Staging/Cart setup to support Machinery build as required.
  • Manage unloading of deliveries, receipt of inventory and verification of items received and labeling of parts.
  • Generate and manage Pick list to meet ERP Demand at right time/location to support operations.
  • Facilitating labeling of products and movement of inventory to meet ERP Demand at the right time/location to support operations.
  • Facility physical Vendor returns.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives for material flow, warehouse and inventory process.
  • Managing job closing and transfers as required.
  • Manage & establish inventory locations optimizing availability to support operations.
  • Train and supervise warehouse, inventory control and receiving team including writing employee reviews, maintaining employee safety requirements and administering disciplinary action and/or behavior modification where required.
  • Provide backup for shipping function of outgoing shipments to customers for aftermarket parts.
