About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the effective oversight of daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, LGV (Laser Guided Vehicle) management and operation, and team supervision. This role ensures the timely and accurate completion of tasks critical to the warehouse’s overall performance. The Supervisor also monitors operational processes, serves as a key resource for the Warehouse Team, and provides hands-on support in troubleshooting unexpected issues with urgency and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Associates degree and/or equivalent experience, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of supervisory / leadership experience in warehouse environment.
  • Forklift experience required and forklift certifiable.
  • Demonstrated and effective use of computer skills such as MS office, WMS systems, Teams, and email.
  • Demonstrated experience with WMS platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Oversee LGV operations, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Maintain daily workflow efficiency, ensuring all warehouse tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Supervise and support warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular team huddles or briefings to align on priorities and address issues.
  • Monitor warehouse processes to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
  • Act as a first responder to operational disruptions, ensuring quick resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, OSHA regulations, and other safety standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Participate in or lead Kaizen events, Lean initiatives, or other improvement projects.
  • Track and report on KPIs such as order accuracy, turnaround time, and inventory variance.
  • Provide regular updates to management on warehouse performance and issues.
  • Maintain clear documentation of incidents, resolutions, and process changes.
  • Support cross-departmental communication to ensure alignment on logistics and priorities.
