Requirements
- 2-3 years related experience and/or training in a distribution center environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of RF processes using Intermec RF scanning equipment
- Experience using Exceed 4000 Warehouse Management System
- Must be able to demonstrate valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to provide proof of insurance.
Responsibilities
- Perform and assist floor employees in performing inbound receipts per documented processes as well as dispositioning non-conforming product, purchase order, or damaged shipments.
- Lead the department in shipping orders and as required to meet customer delivery and quality level commitments
- Insure outbound shipments are worked in line with our documented procedures and processes.
- Lead safety efforts involving cable machinery and forklift operation
- Assist in the maintenance of acceptable productivity and quality levels for floor associates to ensure the performance metrics of the business are met.
- Ensure cable is prepared for shipment to prevent damage by carriers
- Manage Steel Reel returns for credit and cable junk recycling
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory utilizing a Warehouse Management and Reporting System
- Communicate any performance issues and observations to department supervisor.
- Lead floor personnel in the inventory reporting, cycle counting, and reconciliation process.
- Driving is an essential function of this position.
- Adhere to, promote, and accept personal responsibility for compliance to: Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, Industry Consensus Standards, Circet USA Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual
- Participate in job site safety/hazard analysis
