About The Position

Our site is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Hillsboro, Oregon. If hired into this role, you will manage all aspects of the warehousing day-to-day function, including safety, shipping/receiving, and inventory management. Shift Hours: 8 hour M-F shift, or a 12-hour schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 5:30am-6pm one week; Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 5:30am-6pm the next week.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Business or similar discipline or equivalent experience in distribution or manufacturing
  • 10+ years of warehousing/distribution experience, with at least 3-5 years as a warehouse supervisor or manager.
  • Knowledge in ERP (SAP preferred) and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work/lead a team with little direct supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, listening skills, and responsiveness to customer expectations
  • Conflict resolution and problem solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven performance management and team building skills
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • Ability to spend prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • HazMat Shipping Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Direct a team of warehouse associates (10-15 team members) who are responsible for all receiving, shipping and inventory control activities for the Hillsboro manufacturing facility.
  • Complete annual performance reviews for all staff.
  • Assist Warehouse Manager with hiring and training new employees.
  • Effectively manage team resources to provide internal customers (Manufacturing, Maintenance, Procurement, Engineering, and Quality) with a high level of support to meet factory objectives for safety, quality, and production.
  • Set and maintain high standards for the warehouse team in the areas of safety, environmental compliance, inventory control, receiving, and shipping.
  • Develop and maintain a safety-first culture within the warehousing team.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in all aspects of warehouse management aimed at improving safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert for hazardous waste management and shipping.
  • Coordinate on-site inventory accurately to corporate targets.
  • Ensure that the team is performing required system transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Investigate and implements corrective actions for both internal and external customer complaints.
  • Document, implement, and maintain work instructions and specifications for all processes.
  • Develop a training and certification program for all warehouse associates to ensure compliance with the latest process.
  • Oversee site compliance with corporate cycle count program.
  • Manage relationships with 3PL warehouses and support Entegris transportation personnel in reporting carrier, shipping, and delivery, performance.
