About The Position

AM General develops specialized ground vehicle systems for the U.S. Armed Services and allies. The Supervisor - Warehouse (Kitting) oversees warehouse workflow and employees, coordinating kitting and export packaging activities to meet contract due dates while maintaining quality and delivery performance. The position works across office and manufacturing plant environments and may involve travel up to 10%.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five years of general experience preferred.
• One to three years of supervisory experience.
• Moderate knowledge of SAP ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule workflow processes through the box shop according to contract due dates.
• Schedule and coordinate the export packaging area according to contract due dates.
• Maintain quality and packing integrity.
• Supervise warehouse hourly employees.
• Coordinate delinquencies with the warehouse superintendent.
• Interface with AFTC departments to report and improve on-time delivery performance for orders.
• Provide backup for all warehouse supervisors.
• Understand and apply the union contract to maintain good relationships with employees.
• Develop, maintain, and report KPI performance goals for areas of responsibility.
