Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting policy, financial standards, or internal controls.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX and financial reporting requirements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Experience working in a global organization is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, and create as needed, local Finance Standards: (i) continuously improve comprehensive finance standards and documentation. (ii) Ensure alignment with US GAAP and internal control frameworks.
  • Help define Data Standards & Classification Rules for the U.S. market: Establish and govern data definitions, naming conventions, and classification rules to ensure consistency across systems and reports.
  • Govern Policy Change & Exception Processes: (i) Policy governance framework, including change management, exception handling, and documentation. (ii) Maintain a centralized repository of all finance policies and ensure accessibility and version control.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: (i) Work closely with Finance, IT, Internal Audit, Compliance, and PMI Global teams to ensure standards are practical, scalable, and enforceable. (ii) Support onboarding and training efforts related to finance standards and policies.
