About The Position

Join our team as the Supervisor of Transmission Reliability Coordination and lead a group of dedicated Reliability Coordinators focused on ensuring the long‑term health and performance of our Transmission assets. In this role, you’ll guide the development and implementation of maintenance programs in Maximo that meet both regulatory requirements and operational excellence standards. This position is based at our Montopolis location in Austin, TX and offers a flexible hybrid work schedule.

Requirements

  • Nine or more years of experience in transmission operations, maintenance, planning, engineering, information technology, or other relevant experience.
  • A degree in business, computer science, information systems, electrical power theory, electronics, instrumentation, controls, industrial or mechanical maintenance or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

  • Proficient in Maximo ( 7.6 or MAS 9)
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Transmission equipment and systems
  • Power BI or similar reporting system experience
  • NERC policies and ERCOT protocols knowledge
  • iOS knowledge to support mobile applications
  • Experience with Prometheus Maximo Mobile

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and direction to staff, including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, determining compensation, and managing all aspects of supervision in accordance with human resources policies.
  • Addresses departmental issues, responds to employee needs and concerns, and ensures accurate and timely communication with employees.
  • Coordinates with the Transmission operational technology team to ensure the effective use of technology systems to support LCRA TSC operations and maintenance.
  • Develops partnerships with business work groups to identify Maximo enhancements and leads transmission asset management process improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, planning, field operations, and technical support staff to ensure maintenance plans are created to meet ERCOT protocols, NERC policies, and manufacturer maintenance requirements.
  • Oversees work management system activities, providing direction to analytical and quality assurance tasks supporting maintenance planning and asset management functions.
  • Manages transmission system maintenance coordination activities, ensuring the assessment, scheduling, and prioritizing of maintenance, repair, capital improvement projects (CIP), and customer work activities.
  • Leads identification of short- and long-term transmission system maintenance, repair, CIP, and customer work needs, and develops initiatives to improve reliability, processes, and programs.
  • Represent Transmission as a Maximo SME, and implement process improvements in the Maximo application.
  • Develops and presents various reports and presentations to management, executives, and other stakeholders.
