About The Position

Our Data Center Excellence team is at the heart of this transformation, ensuring seamless, scalable, and secure operations across our global contract logistics footprint. We’re looking for a Launch Training Supervisor to lead the successful deployment of new data center initiatives and drive operational excellence from day one. The Launch Training Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring new-site operations achieve rapid competence and operational sustainability. Working under the Training & Standards Manager, this role is responsible for the direct observation of operational processes, the accurate creation of standard work documentation, and the hands‑on delivery and evaluation of launch training during pre‑launch, go‑live, and stabilization. This position serves as the eyes and ears at the Gemba, validating how processes are performed, identifying gaps, ensuring alignment with the official Launch Training Standard, and transforming operational behaviors into clear, visuals - Draft, edit, and maintain Statement of Work (SOW), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), and visual job aids with clarity and alignment to customer processes, DP world standards or best industry practices. —including SOPs, SOWs, SWIs, and job aids. The Launch Training Supervisor owns the execution of training events, skills evaluations, certification activities, and ongoing sustainment audits that validate whether newly launched operations maintain standards after handoff.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in warehouse operations, training, or process documentation within 3PL, manufacturing, or contract logistics environments.
  • Experience conducting process observations, writing SOPs/SWIs, and supporting training.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Experience delivering instructor‑led training.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies.
  • College degree required; Bachelor Degree is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 yrs of experience working in an warehouse , automotive , light manufacturing , logistics environment working in a quality or training capacity.
  • Above average interpersonal, organizational and communication skills - written and oral to deal with a wide range of customers-both internal and external.
  • Ability to communicate and deal with a variety of people including syncreon team members as well as all levels customer from managerial to hourly.
  • Excellent trainer skills and abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Train‑the‑Trainer certification.
  • ISO documentation experience.
  • Prior experience in launch environments.
  • Certifications in LEAN , Six Sigma preferred
  • Knowledge of Spanish Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured Gemba observations to validate operational processes against designed workflows, SOPs, and engineering standards.
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and non‑standard behaviors; communicate findings to the Training & Standards Manager.
  • Document real‑world process variations and ensure they are captured, corrected, or escalated as needed.
  • Draft, edit, and maintain Statement of Work (SOW), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), and visual job aids with clarity and alignment to customer processes, DP world standards or best industry practices.
  • Apply DP World’s documentation frameworks, version control policies, and visual management standards.
  • Translate complex operational steps into simple, logical, and user‑friendly formats appropriate for frontline associates.
  • Deliver launch training for direct labor, indirect labor, and support functions, following the approved curricula, trainer guides, and standards.
  • Apply adult‑learning principles, coaching techniques, and scenario‑based methods to ensure engagement and comprehension.
  • Facilitate hands‑on production floor training to reinforce correct behaviors.
  • Conduct assessments, skills checks, and certification events to verify competence and readiness for handoff to site leadership.
  • Maintain audit‑ready records for onboarding, skills matrices, trainee performance, and certification status.
  • Identify retraining or corrective action requirements based on evaluation results.
  • Perform post‑launch sustainment audits to verify continued process adherence.
  • Track and report sustainment indicators related to safety, quality, productivity, and system adoption.
  • Provide refresher training and coaching where gaps are observed.
  • Support systems training (WMS, scanners, reporting tools) in partnership with the Launch Manager and IT/Systems team.
  • Ensure trainees receive correct access, follow WMS workflows accurately, and maintain data integrity.
  • Create role‑based quick‑reference guides and digital micro‑learning assets.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor training programs within the organization.
  • Identify and access future and current training needs, and recommend improvements through job analysis, standardize work evaluation and skill level testing, development and training.
  • Gather data from customer and internal sources and create testing and evaluation processes and communicate/report to appropriate personnel.
  • Interact with staff within the location and within the company and all customer and prospective customer representatives.
  • Coordinate/conduct training. This includes the necessary documentation required for conducting the training and recording the training and training results.
  • Maintain the training cell environment, i.e. 5S, improvements, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
