About The Position
The Test Lab Technician Supervisor will oversee our lab operations and support our team of technicians in carrying out high-quality testing processes. The ideal candidate will manage daily activities in the lab, maintain safety and quality standards, and ensure efficient testing workflows. This role is critical in maintaining our company’s commitment to quality and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or Laboratory Science) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a test lab technician or in a related role.
- Proficiency in lab testing techniques, familiarity with lab equipment, and strong understanding of quality and safety standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a team and manage conflict effectively.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in conducting and overseeing tests.
- Ability to identify issues quickly and implement practical solutions within lab operations.

- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily lab activities, ensuring testing procedures are followed accurately and safely.
- Lead and mentor a team of lab technicians, provide training and development opportunities, and manage performance.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and regulatory guidelines, conducting regular audits of testing procedures and lab processes.
- Identify opportunities to optimize testing protocols, improve workflow, and reduce testing time while maintaining accuracy and precision.
- Oversee accurate and timely recording of test results and maintain lab records.
- Coordinate calibration, maintenance, and repairs of lab equipment to ensure functionality and accuracy.
- Enforce lab safety protocols, ensure technicians follow proper procedures, and conduct regular safety training and inspections.
- Work closely with product development, engineering, and quality assurance teams to support testing requirements for new and existing products.
