About The Position

Lead Operations That Support Exceptional Patient Care Orlando Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor, Supply Chain Operations to oversee daily supply chain activities, inventory management, distribution operations, and team performance. This leadership role is essential in ensuring the right supplies are available at the right time to support patient care across our healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong inventory management expertise, operational knowledge, and a passion for customer service. This position offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing team while driving operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and supply chain excellence.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or supply chain required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree may substitute for two (2) years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree may substitute for four (4) years of related experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dock equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse, inventory, distribution, and procedural area supply chain operations.
  • Lead and develop team members through coaching, mentoring, scheduling, performance management, and employee development.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stocking requirements, and supply availability to support operational and clinical needs.
  • Coordinate annual inventories, cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and inventory control processes.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, distribution, replenishment, and storage of supplies and materials.
  • Oversee product recalls, returns, vendor management, tissue tracking processes, and inventory compliance activities.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical departments to optimize supply chain processes and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor quality assurance processes, inventory accuracy, and departmental performance metrics.
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies and maintain effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Support contract management, item activations, purchasing processes, and inventory integrity within system applications.
  • Ensure compliance with Orlando Health policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
