About The Position

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a full-time Sterile Processing Supervisor to join our Surgical Services team. The Sterile Processing Supervisor will oversee quality control activities, ensure compliance with best practices and hospital policies, and lead a dedicated team in delivering excellence behind the scenes. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification required
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible Sterile Processing experience required
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Experience supervising staff, conducting competency assessments, employee education, and performance management required
  • Working knowledge of AAMI standards, AORN guidelines, SGNA standards, infection prevention principles, manufacturer Instructions for Use (IFU), and regulatory agency requirements required
  • Experience managing inventory control, supply chain coordination, purchasing processes, and surgical supply operations required
  • Experience developing and implementing quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with flexible endoscope reprocessing preferred
  • Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) certification preferred
  • Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification preferred
  • Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) certification preferred
