Requirements

Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum: 1 year sterile processing experience
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) credential from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) [formerly the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM)] or the Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) credential from the Certification Board For Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) within one (1) year post-hire

Nice To Haves

Vocational/Technical School Degree
Completion of a sterile processing course and/or a vocational/technical school diploma/degree in surgical technology
More than one (1) year of sterile processing experience
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)

Responsibilities

Manage inventory level of OR supplies
Assure proper maintenance and repair of OR equipment
Responsible for efficient and effective management of the resources and personnel in the sterile processing department
