About The Position

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of speech-language pathologists or speech therapists, ensuring the provision of high-quality services, maintaining standards and compliance, fostering professional development, and facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

• Master's Degree Speech Language Pathology required
• Speech-language Pathologist [State License] - Generic - HR Only required
• Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology [CCC-SLP] - American Speech Language Hearing Association preferred
• Clinical experience as a speech-language pathologist. 5-7 years required
• Strong knowledge of speech therapy principles, techniques, and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively lead and manage a team.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications for documentation and scheduling.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role 2-3 years preferred

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a team of speech-language pathologists or speech therapists.
• Assign caseloads, provide clinical supervision, and monitor the progress of therapy sessions.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss cases, share best practices, and address concerns or challenges.
• Provide ongoing professional development opportunities and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Ensure that therapy services comply with professional standards, ethics, and regulations.
• Develop and implement clinical protocols, policies, and procedures to maintain consistency and quality of services.
