About The Position

The Specimen Processing Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Specimen Processing laboratory including staffing, scheduling, motivating, coaching, and mentoring team members, and performance management. The supervisor follows all laboratory policies and procedures and maintains accurate data reporting practices to ensure consistent and diligent execution of specimen processing.

Requirements

• Experience in specimen processing.
• Supervisory or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of laboratory policies and procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Specimen Processing laboratory.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, motivation, coaching, and mentoring of team members.
• Conduct performance management for team members.
• Adhere to all laboratory policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate data reporting practices for diligent specimen processing.
