Supervisor is responsible for the management and development of staff. Provides oversight to, and is accountable for quality and service, regulatory compliance, work unit safety, strategic planning, document management, financial management and developing and implementing new services. Works cooperatively with a wide variety of customers, as well as internal and external resources. Completes special projects as assigned by the laboratory consultant/director(s), administrator and/or operations manager(s). This position provides leadership for Specimen Operations, supporting a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment that is critical to the success of Mayo Clinic Laboratories. Success in this role requires a leader who can think strategically, build strong partnerships across teams, and effectively navigate complex operational challenges. Rotational Weekend Coverage Participate in a rotating remote Saturday coverage schedule, monitoring team communications and operational activity. Respond to emerging issues as needed and escalate critical concerns to ensure smooth business operations.
