The Shovel and Drill Supervisor is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, supporting maintenance planning and scheduling, and driving equipment reliability initiatives for the mine’s loading and drilling fleet. This role works closely with maintenance supervisors, planners, reliability personnel, operations teams, contractors, and OEM representatives to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of hydraulic shovels and production drills. This position provides technical leadership and execution support for maintenance programs, equipment performance improvement efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Shovel and Drill Supervisor plays a key role in maximizing equipment availability, reducing downtime, and supporting safe and cost-effective mining operations.
