About The Position

As a Supervisor Sales Operations, you will have a meaningful impact on the Lands’ End Outfitters business and the growth of our Sales Operations team. You will co-lead a team of customer advisors who execute the onboarding of new accounts, maintain existing accounts and service thousands of customers. The ideal person understands the needs of the internal and external customer and drives continuous improvement of our processes/procedures with employee happiness and customer success in mind. An Associate Supervisor is responsible for managing multiple ongoing projects and service enhancements within the team while collaborating with the sales teams and other cross functional partners to achieve division-wide goals and ensure our customer base is well-supported. An Associate Supervisor will use the Lean/Agile model to guide the team through workload management and process improvement. To be successful in this role, one should be a creative thinker, able to balance multiple priorities and projects, able to execute business initiatives and communicate effectivity with different leadership roles throughout Lands’ End and its customer base. Requirements

  • Comfortable working independently as well as cooperatively with minimal supervision while building strong internal & external relationships
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask by managing multiple projects while remaining flexible in a self-directed, organized, decisive, professional and objective manner
  • Previous leadership experience managing a team of direct reports and building a bench for future leaders
  • Is effectively able to use a variety of communication methods, including listening effectively, adapting approach to audience
  • Ability to delegate, follows through with commitments ensuring others do the same and prioritize tasks for optimum efficiencies
  • Effectively coordinate all types of work with multiple cross-functional partners
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills, managing high stress situations with the ability to be flexible and embrace change in a positive manner.
  • Ability to identify & implement innovative operational processes
  • Extensive knowledge of Sales Force and Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote and Access Databases.
  • Experience in effectively creating and communicating a compelling sales message, consistent with Lands' End philosophies.
  • Available for moderate travel, including some weekends

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of a team of Sales Operations persons.
  • Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion both for school leaders and Sales team; coordinates work activities with other supervisors
  • Serve as the Project Manager and manage/coordinate business initiatives within the team and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve shared objectives.
  • Project manage multiple/complex ongoing projects, resources, thru flexibility and getting the most from resources
  • Provide coaching and development to your direct reports through monitorial, internal and external client interaction and feedback.
  • Support growth by working with the team to identify additional business opportunities within accounts.
  • Serve as an escalation point for customer issues and help drive them to successful resolution by proposing dynamic and achievable solutions.
  • Meet client launch and retention goals by ensuring the successful completion of team tasks and timelines while ensuring the customer is receiving the Lands’ End brand experience.
  • Support new client acquisition goals by ensuring the successful partnership of the Sales Leader and the Field Sales Representatives when bringing new clients onboard
  • Manage and direct the daily work activities of a staff up to 10 people to ensure work is completed on time while maintaining solid controls
  • Implement and support the use of Visual Metrics, root cause analysis and continuous process improvement
  • Review, identify, and implement team structure and process improvements to best utilize resources across our teams to meet business and account needs.
  • Assist in human resources and personnel management to include but not limited to hiring, interviewing, scheduling, payroll processing, and training
  • Analyze operational data and provide insights into leadership for resource planning
  • Monitor team performance against established KPIs for accuracy, timeliness and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong change leadership by effectively guiding teams through organizational transitions.
  • Builds trust, communicates the vision for change, and fosters engagement to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
