About The Position

Warrior Met Coal is a leading producer and exporter of metallurgical coal for the global steel industry from underground mines located in Brookwood, Alabama, southwest of Birmingham and near Tuscaloosa. Requirements

• Interaction with front line supervision and the hourly workforce to provide guidance and education to achieve and maintain compliance with Warrior Met Coal Safety Policies, federal and state mining laws.
• Work as an integral member of site management to monitor and strengthen compliance with Warrior Met Coal Safety Policies, federal and state mining laws.
• Represent site management while accompanying Federal and/or State inspectors and initiate appropriate actions as warranted and convey the results of the inspection to management.
• Investigate accidents and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Interact with the front-line supervisors and the hourly work force to strengthen the understanding and adherence to Warrior Met Coal Safety Policies, federal and state mining laws.
• Reinforce positive behaviors and correct undesired behaviors.
• Accompany Federal or State Inspectors during their inspections.
• Perform site visits and audits.
• Collect Respirable Dust Samples or other health related.
• Conduct Training.
