About The Position

This is a gaming level position responsible for supervising and training Revenue Audit Clerks. The role involves counting, auditing, and balancing all revenue and expense related documents with revenue received and expenses paid. The Supervisor Revenue Audit will oversee daily audit work, compile reports for management, assist with compliance testing and audits on various casino departments, and ensure casino internal controls are followed. This position also plays a role in developing and maintaining checklists, preparing daily audit reports, and assisting with daily audits. Additionally, the role includes coaching, mentoring, and training subordinates, assisting in the development and implementation of SOPs, and preparing daily revenue and expense reports. Maintaining strict confidentiality of internal activities and ensuring effective personnel management within the department are key aspects of this role. The position requires demonstrating consistent regard for guests, vendors, colleagues, and the Company, understanding the impact of actions on the Company, presenting new ideas, and exhibiting respectful consideration of others. The Supervisor Revenue Audit will put the guest at the forefront of every decision and perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
Associates degree in Accounting preferred
Three (3) years’ experience in Casino Gaming or Casino Audit with one (1) year in a supervisory capacity
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other common computer programs
Ability to perform mathematical computations
Ability to access, input and analyze information into the computer
Ability to complete monthly journal entries
Ability to complete monthly account analysis
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended period of time
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests.
Fluency in English required.
Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to compute complex mathematical calculations.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Supervises and trains Revenue Audit Clerks.

Compiles reports for Casino Departments for review by Manager Revenue Audit.
Assists with testing for compliance and supervise audits on various casino departments.
Ensures Casino internal controls are being followed.
Assists in developing and maintain checklists for completion of work in accordance with policies and procedures and internal controls.
Prepares Daily Audit Report.
Assists with daily audits.
Coaches, mentors and trains subordinates.
Assists in the development and implementation of SOP’s.
Prepares daily revenue and expense reports.
Maintains STRICT confidentiality of internal activities.
Ensures effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching and counseling and other personnel related matters are being handled appropriately throughout assigned departments.
Facilitates and ensures that performance reviews of all employees within department are complete on a yearly basis.
Work as shared services between other properties as needed.
