About The Position

The Supervisor Revenue Audit will oversee daily audit work, compile reports for casino departments, and assist with testing for compliance. This role ensures casino internal controls are followed, helps develop and maintain checklists, and prepares daily audit and revenue/expense reports. The position also involves coaching, mentoring, training subordinates, assisting in SOP development, and maintaining strict confidentiality. Additionally, the supervisor ensures effective personnel management, including performance reviews, and may work across different properties as needed. A strong understanding of the marketplace, guest focus, and initiative for new ideas are key competencies.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other common computer programs
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations
  • Ability to access, input and analyze information into the computer
  • Ability to complete monthly journal entries
  • Ability to complete monthly account analysis
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended period of time
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Three (3) years’ experience in Casino Gaming or Casino Audit with one (1) year in a supervisory capacity
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a New York State Gaming Commission License and New York State Racing and Wagering License

Responsibilities

  • Oversees daily audit work by Audit Clerks.
  • Compiles reports for Casino Departments for review by Manager.
  • Assists with testing for compliance and supervise audits on various casino departments.
  • Ensures Casino internal controls are being followed.
  • Assists in developing and maintain checklists for completion of work in accordance with policies and procedures and internal controls.
  • Prepares Daily Audit Report.
  • Assists with daily audits.
  • Coaches, mentors and trains subordinates.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of SOP’s.
  • Prepares daily revenue and expense reports.
  • Maintains STRICT confidentiality of internal activities.
  • Ensures effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching and counseling and other personnel related matters are being handled appropriately throughout assigned departments.
  • Facilitates and ensures that performance reviews of all employees within department are complete on a yearly basis.
  • Work as shared services between other properties as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
