About The Position

The Supervisor - Retail is responsible for assisting with the planning and direction of the Retail operations, including all related management functions with the end result of a positive guest experience. The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements. Seminole Gaming’s employment process requires candidates to obtain gaming licensure by successfully completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to beginning employment. These background checks may include, but are not limited to: Credit Check, Criminal Background Check, Drug Screen. Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • One (1) to three (3) years of Retail experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Oversees daily work assignments of Retail staff
  • Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance
  • Must be able to effectively coach and counsel employees
  • Must possess excellent organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Must have good strong computer skills to include MS Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • A four-year degree in Management is preferred.
  • Stratten Warren and Infogenesis experience is highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers.
  • Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
  • Inventory stock and reorder when inventory drops to a specified level.
  • Instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
