About The Position

The Supervisor-Registration performs all supervisory duties with a strong emphasis on completeness, accuracy, customer satisfaction and with accordance to hospital and departmental policies, procedures and expectations. These services may be provided for both the LLUMC and LLUCH hospitals. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Two year hospital-based registration experience specializing in managed care, Medi-Cal, Medicare, and California Children's Services (with emphasis on Federal, State, and County eligibility regulations and requirements) is required.
  • Must be able to identify and contain any deficiencies in maintaining PHI and complying with HIPAA guidelines and compliance.
  • Able to write legibly, speak English with professional quality.
  • Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to position (e.g.; Word, Excel, LLEAP, Ontrac).
  • Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the job.
  • Able to relate positively, effectively and professionally with others.
  • Provide leadership and supervision.
  • Be consistent in following policies.
  • Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
  • Teach and collaborate.
  • Accept direction.
  • Work staff to ensure a Culture of Excellence in Customer Service is trained and reflected as part of an ongoing expectation.
