About The Position

The supervisor is responsible to develop, maintain, and improve service to its customers 24 hours a day. The supervisor must recruit, select, mentor, coach, develop, discipline, and maintain a staff that will provide this service. This should be done through ongoing self-improvement, the promotion of continuous improvement, and by being a change agent. This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship/we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or attain within three years of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited radiography, ultrasound, or nuclear medicine program.
• Five years of clinical radiology experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to multitask and manage a variety of daily problems including patient-related issues, equipment, technical competency, workflow, and supervisory duties.
• Thorough understanding of Mayo and Radiology policies and procedures and ability to communicate these expectations to employees.
• Ability to gain cooperation through leading by example, motivating individuals, and influencing others.
• Supervisor should be sensitive, assertive, and possess a management style that promotes teamwork and harmonious working relationships.
• Registry in clinical radiology field is required.

• Registry in specific modality that supervisory position supports is strongly preferred.
