About The Position

OSG is seeking a detail-driven Quality Control Supervisor to lead quality control on our production floor: guiding the QC team, protecting client quality standards, and keeping every job accurate, compliant, and on time. In this role you lead the quality control function on your assigned shift: supervising QC personnel (including direct reports in NJ and AZ), ensuring all printed and inserted materials conform to client specifications and OSG quality standards, owning inspection documentation and hold/release decisions, and partnering with production leadership on root-cause and corrective action. • Ability to read, interpret, and enforce work orders, job tickets, and written specifications.
  • Proficiency with computers and production systems for documentation, tracking, and reporting; experience with PrintStream, JTS, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Sound judgment and clear communication when escalating issues and making hold/release decisions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • 5+ years of quality control or production experience, including 3 year(s) in a lead or supervisory capacity.

  • Make the call on out-of-spec product. Make hold, rework, and release decisions, and escalate defects, discrepancies, and quality risks to production management and production control promptly.
  • Keep records audit-ready. Own the accuracy and audit-readiness of quality records, inspection logs, and documentation in our production systems.
  • Drive corrective action. Lead root-cause and corrective action efforts with operations; track and report defect trends and drive continuous improvement through process adjustments.
