About The Position

Morning Glory is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee hourly production employees, ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent operations. This role involves supporting the Production Manager with training, coaching, performance assessment, and workforce scheduling, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. The Supervisor will also play a key role in operational excellence by analyzing production data, identifying trends, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. They will prioritize and assign daily workloads to meet production goals and customer requirements, and utilize a continuous improvement mindset to identify and implement operational enhancements. Safety, Quality, and Compliance are paramount, requiring the enforcement of all company policies, safety rules, and regulatory requirements, including OSHA standards. The Supervisor must ensure proper use of PPE and reinforce safe work practices, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and food safety/quality system requirements, including SQF standards. Collaboration with supply chain and cross-functional teams is essential to support business unit objectives.

Requirements

  • Associate degree required
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with experience training, mentoring, and developing employees.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodology strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with supply chain and cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with other departments to support safety, service, cost, and people objectives across the business unit.
